I designed a graphic that was visually appealing and effectively communicated the call to action using Canva and Adobe InDesign. It asked Westminster University community members to nominate alumni for the annual alumni awards, leading to greater participation in the nomination process than in previous years. My team members and I promoted a low-cost strategy to reach audiences for a non-profit using stickers, murals, and flyers. I researched how they could engage the community long-term and implement art to capture audiences’ emotion and attention. My team and I created a report proposing the use of art-based advocacy to raise awareness about food waste and insecurity for the non-profit Waste Less Solutions.
